The Ugly Duckling

But the love didn't last for long, For the duck was only using the ugly duckling. And the ugly duckling went back to being unloved once again.

Once, there was an ugly duckling. He was teased by others for the way he looked. Oh, how he wished to grow up to be a beautiful swan, just like in stories. But no. Life isn't a fairy tale. It's a horror story.

How he wished someone would see the beauty within him. But no. No one took the time to even try.

But then one day, a duck came along, Who's beauty was beyond that of any swan. He was the first to give the ugly duckling a second glance. This made the ugly duckling's heart skip a beat, And for once, he felt loved.

With a heavy heart, the ugly duckling sank into a deep depression, And hung himself from a willow tree.

And so, the ugly duckling's story came to an end. Forever. But it was never a sad story, no.

It's just life
